Why did I start this company?

I spent the majority of my teenage years and adulthood shopping for skin/beauty products blindly. If a name brand product said Acne Control or Smooth Skin Guaranteed, I thought, "This product must really have it all" and "Sure, I can't pronounce 90% of this products 100+ ingredients, but what do I know?" Instinctually, I knew more than I thought I did.

Since becoming a mom to my son, Ryder, I found myself reading ingredient labels more vigilantly. I find myself caring about what goes into my body because I care what goes into his. I started to realize that every skin care product I owned contained countless chemicals, endocrine disruptors, BPAs etc. My skin and my body were in a constant state of inflammation, and I was to blame.

I began throwing away old bottles of chemical-filled face wash and all my expensive designer creams. I went back to the most basic, bioavailable, non toxic product we have: 100% grass fed beef tallow. A product that has been around for ages, that still works wonders. Imagine that.

My skin instantly healed. I had no acne, no inflammation. But I missed the luxury of skincare. I wanted that nighttime ritual where I could put something decadent on myself and feel and smell like a million bucks. I couldn't find anything I loved. So I created my own.
